In Kastelli Kissamos, the steep terrain is approached not as a constraint, but as the generative premise of the architecture. The residential complex is inscribed into the topography through dynamic lines, shifting levels and elongated horizontal planes that follow the land while directing the gaze towards the horizon. The built volumes alternately emerge from and recede into the landscape, shaping an unfolding experience of light, movement and view. The result is a progressive contemporary architecture whose refined aesthetic is not imposed upon the site, but arises naturally from it.
